OMT’s role in Danske Patruljeskibe K/S

The Danish company OMT is among the leading consultants regarding vessel design and construction in Europe.

As a partner in Danske Patruljeskibe K/S, OMT will have the main responsibility for incorporating the capability wishes of the Danish Defence for the future naval vessels. With multifunctional vessels that are to act in a military capacity and as coastguard and pollution combating vessel, OMT looks forward to drawing on all its innovative qualifications and its extensive experience in the design of civilian and military vessels to create a great result.

OMT’s qualifications in the design of flexible naval vessels have most recently been illustrated through the export of the Danish Iver Huitfeldt frigate design, which will form the basis of the UK Royal Navy’s new standard frigate.

With OMT as our partner, we expect to increase the export potential for the final design of the naval vessels, which will benefit all subsuppliers with components on the vessels.
